Grief follows me everywhere - even to the Oregon coast!! Last Sunday morning shortly after 7 a.m. my dear friend, Barb, sent a text. It read: “You up? If you are, watch CBS Sunday Morning. There is a segment on grief.”
I didn’t even finish making coffee, flew from the kitchen, glanced at the ocean and punched power on the remote. There it was… The cover story on grief.
Here are the statistics shared in the segment:
• 2.5 million people die every year.
• Multiply that by 2 or 3 people who were super close to them.
• That’s over 7 MILLION people touched by loss!
We know the pain, isolation, and overwhelm of grief. So do millions of others in this country.

There was one phrase in particular that blew up my heart. I’m constantly teaching my client tools to deal with this issue. I’ll share more about it next week.
